Traditions!!

Every Christmas morning growing up, my family always ate orange rolls. I don't know why, we just did. On Christmas Eve, we always went to the Chinese Buffet....sounds a little like "The Christmas Story" if you ask me! "Honey, that duck is staring at me..." The picture illustrates a tradition, that is more of a family joke...I always make the Green Bean Casserole....always....

Since my husband and I are recently remarried, we are trying to come up with some great family traditions we can have through the holidays that our children will love and always remember...

So, what are some of your family's favorite traditions?

Holy Wow! We're going to Cracker Barrel tomorrow too! My husband works at 3 and plus all of our stuff is still in storage...so we just decided to do that, make it easy and stress free...At least we know it's yummy food! Have fun!

It's wonderful to start a new family tradition and I am happy to share my very favorite one.

Every Christmas eve my children open up one present each and it is always the same present. A cozy new pair of pajamas! The kids love wearing their new sleepwear to ring in Christmas and all of the kids look so cute for pictures in the morning too!

My traditions are kinda weird....my parents always made the christmas dinner listening to the 'Robbie Williams - Swing When You're Winning' album, and because my step-mum would always get drunk enough to fall asleep, Me and my Dad would do the dishes together :)

Not amazing, but thinking of it makes me smile.

Popped over from SITS.

well, one we've had since we've been married, is at Thanksgiving, everyone gets 3 peas and each one repesents something you are thankful for, so before you eat a pea you have to share what you are thankful for.
miss you!!! Kim

My mom always made this pain in the rear almond swirl coffee cake for Christmas morning... I make it now and while it is time consuming I love the taste. To me it is Christmas!
